Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature is a double peer-reviewed journal that aims to spread the latest results of research and conceptual ideas in Applied Linguistics and Applied Literature. Submissions to Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature are open all year long: manuscripts submitted in December - May will be allocated for the June Edition, and manuscripts submitted in June - November will be allocated for the December Edition. Articles submitted to Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature should be written in English. Authors are charged with APC for each article published (see AUTHOR FEE for the details). Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature is published in two versions: online (E-ISSN 2655-8718 , DOI PREFIX 10.36841 by Crossref) and print (P-ISSN 2338-5243). Previous issues can be read HERE.
History: Published by Faculty of Letters, Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo, Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature had its first volume in July 2014. However, it experienced a misnumber system in its first four years (one issue was considered one volume) but was revised since Volume 9, Issue 1, 2017. Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature has changed its platform to OJS, starting from Volume 10, Issue 1, 2018. For better improvement, the journal has changed its template thrice (Volume 10, Issue 2, 2018 - Volume 12, Issue 1, 2020 - Volume 13, Issue 1, 2021). Per December 2021, Pioneer: Journal of Language and Literature is accredited SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The journal has also been indexed in GOOGLE SCHOLAR, NELITI, GARUDA, CITEFACTOR, and DIMENSIONS. Starting in November 2022, this journal collaborates with the Linguistics and Literature Association.
